Drama and suspense was at the center of the 2016 presidential election and Pennsylvania was a key battleground state in the race for The White House.
NBC10 Digital's Vince Lattanzio and David Chang spoke to Millennial voters about what was important to them in the election. Through a special college tour, Vince and David focused on specific issues like the economy and social justice, to spark conversations about the nation's future with the very citizens who are rising to power in the immediate future. Content from this special project appeared in many forms — a Facebook video series, live Facebook and TV shows, written articles and social snippets.
The series was awarded a regional Edward R. Murrow for Excellence in Social Media and a regional Emmy for Interactivity.
This is a recap of the college tour providing highlights from each location. The series reached hundreds of thousands of viewers across the region and became a conversation point leading up to the presidential election.
